Kelby Training

I spent the day at the colossal Orange County Convention Center. I was taken along for the ride by some photoshopping friends of mine. Scott Kelby of Kelby Training was leading one of his Light it, Shoot it, Retouch it, live events.

It was very practical and informative. I especially enjoyed the live photo shoot complete with different lighting arrangements. The photoshop retouching of the captured images was full of helpful processes and tips. Kelby has a real easy way about him and makes the technical subject very understandable to even a beginner.

Alice In Wonderland Birthday

Saturday afternoon I spent in Wonder Land capturing image for a family who graciously hired me to do so! It was quite the spectacle and I am sure it is an event the children will remember always!

One of the Wonderland creatures smiled at me and made my day. 

Jeff Sukup Botswana Bound

Our friend Jeff and his lovely wife April are going to live in Botswana Africa. They will be representing Jesus . Jeff had been the missions director of my church home South Tampa Fellowship and involved with the P.E.T. ministry  he is a very quiet thoughtful guy. April for many years prepared the most delicious meals for our church family and is a super organized girl who gets things done. We are going to miss their close proximity but you can be sure we will enjoy keeping track of their adventures with Jesus in Africa!

The State of Florida has taken one of the final steps to enable new parents to avoid what little responsibility remains for raising their own children.Parents can now store their kids during their waking hours in a day care free of any additional out of pocket expenses.
The final step can only be building all new schools with an attached maternity ward. You birth them and avoid all the hassle of having to take them home and care for them. All this leaving you free to pursue more important tasks like making loads of money to buy that bigger house and luxury car.

A Perdicament 4 The Ladies

She walks happily along the garden path admiring the many flowers when she sees something. A small creature is resting on a frangipani Leaf. She approaches cautiously and is immediately attracted to the female human’s great weakness, the fuzzy little face of a kitten. Suddenly she is taken aback. She realizes this is no ordinary kitten for it has the female human’s worst nightmare, a moist green frog.

Oh the humanity what a cruel trick of nature. There is just no telling how long she stands frozen with affection and loathing.

Photoshop is the most amazing software ever. It set the imagination free to dabble in the visual world.

Dragon fly

I really enjoy Dragon flies and not just because they eat mosquitos. They are so masterfully designed and so highly manuverable. They also always have a smile on there little mugs.

This one was very cooperative and I was able to get some macro shots using my little Canon a300.
