Made a visit to Haslam’s Book Store today under cloudy skies. As I browsed inside the rain came down outside and all was right with the world.
Haslam’s is a throw back and not much has changed over the years. It has that musty smell that you would expect for an old store front full of very old and hot of the press books. It is one of those places where you can get the latest best seller or find a rare treasure all in one visit.
I really like the animal identification books and they have loads of them!
One of a dwindling number of places still left where you can make a sweet escape from the growing virtual world.
