Knowing Jesus and his grace teaches us that love is an act of the will. Only a heart that is made free can truly exercise that will with as little self interest as is humanly possible. Liking someone is not the same thing as loving someone, but the rarest of all circumstances is finding your self truly loving someone and liking them at the same time. It is very hard to truly love one who is so completely attractive that you think you would always want to be near them. Love never seeks to posses only to make free.
