Breaking in the Outboard.

Yesterday afternoon Scott called and asked if I wanted to cruise around the bay  while the new lower unit on his outboard continued to break itself in. I was happy to oblige.



It was another lovely evening out there and the sky put on a real show of God's Glory!

South Tampa Windy Day

Our neighborhood had about 60 seconds of really high wind and the trees were everywhere!

The following days have been a symphony of chainsaws.

 

It has been great fun and exercise cutting up neighbor’s fallen limbs and trees!

Dressers, Bird Houses, High Winds

This morning I decided to turn a couple of discarded Chest of drawers found by the road side into birds houses. I was not sure how far I would get in the process before rain would start. I was able to finish two small houses. Then the neighborhood almost blew away.

The folks that used to sell prescription drugs down the street recently relocated and I was able to salvage these dressers from their garbage. Yes I am not to proud to dig in the neighborhood drug dealers garbage mostly because I am such a humble guy. This furniture is becoming a rarity in today’s shallow society. They were actually made of solid wood and not particle board!

Here are the two houses and I have wood for quite a few more!

Horizon Rise

Amazing visions of light and color appear as the edge of the earth rotates above the glorious light of the sun!

There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.
