Glee is the way I would describe it when I glance up at the little bird house I constructed a few years past. That little face peering through squinting eyes so disapprovingly from on high, I believe it might be settling down. I cannot be sure of this but during the last few days the little feathery face has be visible at the entrance for most of the daylight hours. I believe this is a behavior meant to discourage squirrels and other birds from trying to set up housekeeping for themselves.
I hope we have an owl family when the proper season arrives!
