There is an old Camphor Tree standing right in the middle of the front yard! It has lingered there for over 40 years and has been a blessing to year after year!
It has provided cooling shade on those hot Florida Summer days.
The seeds are apparently delicious to a multitude of birds who come by the flock to snatch as many as they can. I have seen Starlings, Waxwings and Ravens winging their way through the branches gulping down as many berries as they can get their beaks on.
Camphor trees are not a native species but I sure do enjoy the one I have grown up with!
