They believe they have made something when in fact something has been made of them. If not with their blessing at least as a result of their actions.We do not create. To pretend so is an act of vanity and pride.
When we rob God of his glory we cheat ourselves of the honor that comes with being His own dear children, created by Him to bring glory. Though this never changes His love for us, it cripples our ability to receive love. His love as well as the love of others.
We are vessels. Containers made to bear and dispense God's glory. We are unique in all of creation. We have been given the choice as to our contents. We decide what to fill ourselves with. We are like parents but we are sibling born of one another.We are created in God's image but God is God.
