This years event was at a new location. The attendance was very healthy and the speakers were as usual inspirational.
The focus was on adoption and I have to say there are a lot of folks I know who have adopted in these last few years and have been richly reward for doing so. A Women’s Place has truly reached out to those who find themselves in crisis as a result of an unplanned pregnancy. They have services for every eventuality.
There were plenty of folks from the church I attend on hand for the event as well and I am always encouraged by their smiling faces.
The guest speakers this year were Lauren Dungy followed by Mark and Amy Dominik with their two children.
