The factor that gave me the confidence to finally order 25 chicks from McMurray was knowing my friend Dave was willing to have some of the laying hens in his possession. So today he came over and gathered up his share. 2 Leg horns, 2 Black Star and 2 Red Star which makes 6 less chicken rear ends pooping.
We bagged his six and he whisked them away.

Glad to hear you are going to be taking the chicken adventure to. Keep us posted with updates if you do. I would like to hear your experiences to compare with the ones I am having.
