It has been a long time since I have heard the anchor analogy. For a while it was all the rage with Christian preachers. This scene reminded me of the countless time I have heard it in the past.
It is true you must have something to anchor you in your life. A faith that is firmly planted in something that is true and immovable. We all know what it is like to place our trust in something for security and stability only to have it give way leaving our anchor to drag and sending us into uncertain and dangerous waters.
