Lela Is Back From Afica.

Look at this amazing image Lela posted on her site!. Make sure to click on over and read all about it!

Thanks Billy. I took that picture at a small market on the side of the road on the way to Arandis. The people have small tables with rocks and semi-precious gemstones. Whenever a car drives up, all the people emerge from their small shacks. The children are ....well, they are children. They like to play. They were just being themselves. I took the pic of the sunset behind the mountain on Lela's blog at that same location perhaps twenty minutes later. The other pic on her site with the sun behind the tree is in Okahandja on the last night in-country out the back door of the room where Jeff Sukup and I were staying. My only regret on this picture was that I didn't leave a bit of sky above the child's head (on the tire).

Cheers, Galen

Lela wrote to say, "The one of the sunset at the resort was my photo. I think we all got one like that one!" Duly noted. Galen :)
