Up On The Roof Top
I helped my friend John with a roofing job this morning. He needed to replace three missing shingles on a two story with a very steep roof.
I have to say we both dreaded the job which made me contemplate further a strange thing about being a man. I have noticed on many more than one occasion that I have risked life and limb for little or no reason at all.
I think one of the reasons we were designed this way is so that we would be willing risk our lives killing other folks who would presume to enslave our tribe or harm our families. This is most evident when you are in a group of men and heaven forbid if that group considers itself a team. Together with the encouragement of the others you might do stuff like climb and then repel off of a tall building just because it is there or jump from a very high place into dark water or free dive beneath the water to 60’.
Another observation I have made is this. It would seem that women were designed to persuade the men around them not to take unnecessary risks. It seems that they have a God give desire not to see folks in pain or crippled or worse yet prematurely deceased. This is probably one of the reasons God decided that He had better whip up Eve

lol! You could be onto something! If I would have been there, I would have been standing on the ground saying stuff like...
ReplyDelete"That window is sturdy enough, isn't it! :)" And "You guys are fine without some kind of rope to protect you from the 30 ft drop right? :)"
BUT!: I would have been thinking stuff like...
"HE'S CRAAZY! WHY IS HE PUTTING WEIGHT ON THAT WINDOW!??? IS HE TRYING TO GIVE ME A HEART ATTACK!? WHAT CAN I SAY TO MAKE IT THINK IT'S HIS IDEA TO STOP!?" and "WHY AREN'T THEY USING SOME SORT OF ROPE TO PROTECT THEM FROM FALLING!? i CAN'T EVEN WATCH!? "
So, yeah, I guess you may be right. hehehe Aweome pics! And Great legs! ;)
