Labor day fishing was a success! The water was calm and the tide was high!

The Hullabaloo was operating smoothly and I hope to soon modify the transom to make it more engine worthy as well as stable for standing in.

BroJoe landed the first fish a Golden Spotted Sea Trout (Cynoscion nebulosus)!

The next fish in the boat was a BonnetHead or ShovelHead Shark (Sphyrna tiburo) you have to be careful with sharks even the small ones are very strong!

When we could see the tide moving out we moved in.

This spot back up in the Red Mangroves (Rhizophora mangle) at a bend in the channel always seems to have Snook and Red fish lurking in the shadows!

My brother was the first to fish one out from the Mangroves and it was this Fine Snook (Centropomus undecimalis)

My brother was really itching to catch a Red Drum (Sciaenops ocellatus) but once again his cubby older brother was the chosen one. Oh yeah!
