We Children Of God Compromise

We compromise because we do not think God wants us to have everything we want and we are right. He want us to have what He wants. Really what else is there of eternal value than what God has to offer.

Trust in Jehovah, and do good; Dwell in the land, and feed on his faithfulness. Delight thyself also in Jehovah; And he will give thee the desires of thy heart. Commit thy way unto Jehovah; Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass. And he will make thy righteousness to go forth as the light, And thy justice as the noon-day. Rest in Jehovah, and wait patiently for him: Fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, Because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: Fret not thyself, it tendeth only to evil-doing.
(Psa 37:3-8)

When we compromise we cripple our blessing. When we are not fully obedient we move out of position to be filled to overflowing. When we give up our expectations to be fully available to our Father in Heaven we find that what we wanted does not compare to the excellence of what God has for us all along.
