I went to Ocala to help my friend Galen Garrison record images of marathon medals. We met up with Chuck Savage who has a large collection of Galen’s objects of desire. Mr. Savage was very helpful and it was enjoyable to hear him relate many of his marathon experiences as each medal brought them back to mind.

Galen is going to launch an international database containing marathon medals representing every marathon run on the planet at his site www.marathonmedals.com .
