Today April 18, 2009 was the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International (JDRF) walk for the cure. The St. Pete Times Forum courtyard slowly filled to capacity. What a smiling happy group of folks were in attendance. At 9:00 am they all walked over the Platt St. Bridge and down Bayshore to Willow and back again to the Ice Palace. It was a great time of fellowship and fun and I do believe that if they keep this up they are going to find a cure for diabetes.
