Tampa, Florida January 24, 2009 the children's parade is a throw back to the day when the original Gasparilla parade "Gasparilla Pirate Fest" used to be family friendly. It has grown large enough to look like the regular Gasparilla parade minus the appearance of all the boobs, alcohol intoxication, public urination, vomit, and fights.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you were in attendance. I usally avoid both parades like the plague but I knew plenty of church folk who were going and that made it a place I wanted to be.
