They Want You To Be In Debt

Your government is imploring you to be in debt. They want to use tax revenue that your children might generate in the future to bailout the credit system to prevent the painful adjustments that would occur very rapidly if the free market were allowed to correct itself.

How long after the bailout would we be faced with impending doom once again? Not long considering we are spending money we do not have. The leaders have proposed more than doubling the FDIC’s insurance liability on tax payer money to prevent run's on the banking system.

In short they want to ignore the causes of this disaster, they want to use the same failed principles to stave off the impending depression long enough to have the election and they want you to have credit available to you so you can go on spending until you are in a hole so deep you cannot see the light of day.

Socialist ideas have gotten us most of the way into this mess and if we want to continue to have a credit fueled economy we must become the socialist nation that Obama and the democrats cannot wait to perpetrate on us if given the authority to do so.

I vote to let those responsible deal with the losses and I am willing to suffer the much reduced standard of living we will all experience. It is time to get back to a country who’s economy is based on money we own. Patience people wait a little to buy those things that are not essential and in due time you will have them and appreciate them all the more. On top of that you will not have a country in financial chaos.

If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;

He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

But godliness with contentment is great gain.

For we brought nothing into [this] world, [and it is] certain we can carry nothing out.

And having food and raiment let us be therewith content.

But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and [into] many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.

For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.

Actually McCain is in favor of continuing a laissez-faire form of governance as the Bush Administration. Under such a philosophy banks can basically do as they please and issue as much credit as they like to whome they like. Basically, “no regulation”. The ideology behind laissez-faire is that ‘market forces’ will keep everything in balance (which, they haven’t really). Socialism (in the context you put it) would be the extreme opposite of laissez-faire and thus is about controlling and regulating the banks and tell them not to issue credit to people whom can’t afford it. Between the two philosophies is a happy medium.

PS: Love the bubble rings video! That’s how I came across your site. How exactly did
you build up your empty-lung underwater endurance to rest on the bottom so long?

    Cheers!

  3. I have been a free diving fool since childhood so I kinda feel comfortable under water. The more you relax the better you can manage your oxygen.

  4. Thanks for taking the time to reply. As a registered Independent, I find your blog interesting to read as I’m interested in understanding how others see the world differently. Personally, I feel the government/presidency should basically be like the pendulum of a clock as it swings left and right to keep things in balance. There is a reason why battleground states operate more efficiently than states with just one party; public officials can take nothing for granted as they could be booted out in a heartbeat.

A “free diving fool since childhood”, eh? Well, I guess if you are growing up in Florida in the summer, you stay at the bottom of the pool all the longer just to keep cool. Isn’t that where the 1960s Flipper was filmed? I remember watching reruns as they swam endlessly on the bottom of the ocean with just a mask and thinking, ‘No Way!, a bit of exaggeration of reality.’

  5. I think you are right history would certainly point to a pendulum effect in our countries politics. I like that better than a dictatorship any day!
