The improvements at Picnic island park are happening. All the existing facilities are being repaired.
The parking lot used by folks to load and unload sail boats and jet skis and other small water craft has been graded and covered with crushed shell.
There are crushed shell paths to the picnic shelters now.
There is a new deck that overlooks the southern point of the park.
I will be interested to see if anything else is added.
