This morning I heard a very rare sound but still vaguely familiar sound. When I rushed out front to investigate I found to my delight two Swallow Tail Kites in our Pine tree!
I was able to record a few images of them preening on the high branches before these shy birds felt I was to close and took flight.
I tried my best to to get a good vantage point to capture them as they flew away but they were too quick.
They fly with ease and in no time they were hundreds of feet above!
