30 Baptized This Very Evening
What a splendid evening for the church know as South Tampa Fellowship! We gather at the home of one of our members as we do on occasion for a Baptism. It is always a beautiful thing for me to see my church family in the neighborhoods of Tampa, Florida and they were out in the dozens.
Some of the folks rode there bicycles and when I saw them lined up along the white fence I had a Mayberry moment. It was a real down home atmosphere. Two of the families informed me that they would be off to the Hao Wha after the Baptism on my recommendation. I sure hope they were not disappointed. I think the all you can dispense soft serve machine was the main selling point and I can picture them in my mind right now with their untamed children dashing around the buffet and around the tables that lie beneath the Chinese Dragon that hangs from the ceiling.
Pastor Todd.
There were thirty people following Christ in baptism this evening and the crowd of family and friends was as large as I have ever seen. It was very encouraging for me to see during a time in our churches history when so many changes have occurred and are yet to occur. I love my church family.
19 Go ye therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: Matthew 28:19
