Tea Table
I made a tea table at mommy’s request. I was very pleased with the result. I now have the pleasure of knowing at every glimpse of it that I constructed with my own two hands.
It is gratifying to take a couple of white pine planks and assemble them in a way that will serve to bring aid and comfort to the family! This is the way God made the world to work. We are rewarded for obedience. If we practice the truth of the Living Word we develop the patience, determination and skill to accomplish anything. We are then able to give credit where it is due and bring glory to God!
It is true freedom and peace to know that nothing we do is a result of our own power or ability. How much better it is to know that we do what we do in the power of God and there is no limit the work God will do through us. He gives us the ability to do anything we need when it serves the kingdom!
2 Corinthians 2:9-10
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.
