I had the privilege of taking a few images at the Light of Life Gala presented by A Woman's Place Ministries. What an inspirational service this ministry provides women who find themselves unexpectedly expectant.
The presentation was full of testimonies of by women whose lives had been forever changed by abortion. The ministries focus is to extend biblical counsel concerning pregnancy and life as the creator designed it. Their most effective tool in revealing the truth of the pregnancy process and the developing child that an abortion kills is ultra sound. At this evenings event the special guest so eloquently illustrated the facts by showing up in his/her mothers womb back stage via an amazing new 4D ultra sound machine. It was a wondrous site to behold!
The evening’s main purpose was to raise the funds necessary to equip the woman’s place ministries with just such a machine and Lord willing this life saving device will be in place in short order.
I have to say thanks to this ministry for boldly standing in the face of evil. Individuals and ministries like this daily keep this world from sinking in to insanity of a society who has abandoned the peace and order that God’s truth brings, for the chaos that the pursuit of self-gratification without limit or consequence brings. We must all be a light in anticipation of Jesus return.
