Baptized

There was a baptism yesterday. I went to capture some images. Among the eighteen making a public statement of faith were three little women. Three little women whom I truly adore, three little women from families I respect and admire, three little women I have had the privilege of knowing since their arrival on the planet, and last but not least three little women who quite often give me quality hugs.

Now being baptized does nothing to save you from an eternity separated from God. Baptism is a choice you make after you have had a chat with God and decided to give him your trust and adoration. Baptism is a simple and powerful act of obedience to your father in Heaven. It is a witness to those in attendance that you are a willing and determined follower of Jesus.

Thank you Jesus for binging these little women into a deeper relationship with you as evidenced by this act of loving obedience. Give them wisdom and grow them in virtue as they set out to follow you for a lifetime.
