I parked in front of the pre-school building this evening at 7 pm. I left the building at 9:15pm and what to my wandering eyes should appear but a shattered rear passenger side window. Someone shot the windshield twice as they approached the van and then as they passed shot out the rear passenger window.
The widow that was shattered was on the side walk side of the street so I am guessing that the happy individual was walking the area with a semi-automatic bb pistol! There must be nothing like the thrill of wandering a neighborhood bb gun blazing spreading joy with the your little ball bearings.
Oh that is horrible I am so sorry to hear that! Hope that doesn't happen again... Talk to you soon!
ReplyDeleteHey , Thanks for the sympathy post! I really do not know how I have made it this far in life without more property being vandalized.
ReplyDeleteWhen you are a believer it is fun to know that everything that happens has a valuable and faith building lesson to teach. The first and most obvious lesson I am reminded of in situations such as this is money comes and money goes so do not get all worked up about having to spend money on stuff you did not know you would have to spend it on, and would rather not spend it on.So far I am taking this event pretty well will see what affect the repair bill will have. Thank you Jesus that we even have transportaion.
God bless your family!
I know, I used to worry about my stuff getting wrecked..my clothes, cars, PURSES! lots of purses...but now I just quote Matt. 6:19-21. I love it, it makes me not care anymore. :)
ReplyDeletePs...Sorry about your car. :(
ReplyDeleteAh yes HG that is the perfect passage for just such an ocassion.

Oh yes that is the perfect passage for this situation... Billy that is a good outlook on stuff. God definitely has funny waise to humble us and bring us all closer. Sorry this happened again. But like yousaid you still have transportation and no one was hurt. The good with the bad I guess.
